Ralph Munn Creative Writing Workshop and Contest
The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh is sponsoring a series of writing workshops just for teens! A short fiction workshop will be held on Saturday, March 1 or Sunday March 2 at 1pm, a creative nonfiction workshop will be held on Saturday, March 8 or Sunday, March 9 at 1pm, and a poetry workshop will be held on Saturday, March 15 or Sunday, March 16 at 1pm. Saturday Workshops will be held at the Brookline Branch of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, and the Sunday workshops will be at the Main library in Oakland.
In addition to the workshops, there will also be contests with awesome prizes in the categories of Short Fiction, Creative Nonfiction, and Poetry. First prize is $250, and second prize is $100!!! All entries must be received by April 15, 2008.
